I was thinking about putting out gift guides for everyone on our lists- parents, kids, grandparents, etc., but there are so many gift guides out there right now, and time got away from me a little bit so I decided to make one for the people that I have the hardest time shopping for.
I don’t know about you but for me, the guys in my life are the absolute hardest to find good presents for. I feel like girls are so easy, there are like a million different options when it comes to shopping for girls- purses, perfume, makeup, clothes, and the list goes on. My husband buys himself whatever he wants, my dad won’t stop wearing the same clothes he bought in the 80s no matter how hard we try to replace them, and my father in law has a closet that’s more filled than mine! I always end up saving these three for last when it comes to Christmas and birthdays, and I usually end up rushing around trying to find things that they might possibly want. A lot of the time I just end up trying to replace stuff that they have with nicer versions. But I wanted to put together a gift guide for you ladies so that if you have difficult men to shop for, maybe some of these ideas will help you. I tried to make sure everything on this list will ship fairly quickly, with most of it qualifying for free shipping with amazon prime. Here are some ideas to help you out!:
1. For every dad- YETI Rambler 30 oz Stainless Steel Vacuum Insulated Tumbler w/MagSlider Lid, Black
We LOVE Yeti tumblers in this house. I’ve bought them for my dad, my husband, my uncle and cousins, and I’ve always gotten great responses from buying them. Aside from just the tumblers, they have coozies, coolers, dog dishes and so much more that you can get, so if I don’t know what to get someone, my go to is always a Yeti.
2. For the comfort loving dad- UGG Men’s Ascot Slipper
My husband is on his feet all day long every day, he never stops. When we used to have fit bits and compete with each other, he’d have like 20,000 steps per day, so it’s no surprise Brian loves his Ugg slippers because they are so comfortable. They’re also nice because they aren’t like regular slippers that you can only wear in the house, these have rubber on the bottom so it’s okay to wear them outside too. They’re a little pricey for slippers but not too bad, they last a long time and if they’re as comfy as my Uggs, their feet will appreciate it!
3. For the carnivore dad- Jerky or ButcherBox

I love giving subscription boxes for gifts, I think it’s kind of like a gift that gives them presents for longer than just one time and a lot of people appreciate them. All of the guys I have to buy for are big meat eaters, and while I’m not, I can appreciate that sometimes it’s hard to get good quality meat from the grocery store. I haven’t tried it, but I have heard great things about Butcherbox, and I would definitely consider that to be a great gift. They have a few different packages you can gift depending on the type of meat, and right now they’re giving away a year supply of bacon with each order too.

I also have gifted Jerky to my husband and I think he really liked it. Newport Jerky Company in Newport, Rhode Island has really awesome gift sets you can order, with a ton of different options. The only thing with this company is I’m not totally sure if an order placed would arrive before Christmas, so I would call before ordering here.
4. For the grilling dad- Cuisinart Deluxe Grill Set, 20-Piece, CGS-5020, Stainless Steel
A few years ago Brian was gifted a nice grill set like this and he loves it. He grills all the time so having the right tools has been super helpful. If your guy likes to grill, this is an awesome option!! I’ve also bought him a few fun gifts for grilling like a funny grill apron which he doesn’t use but it was cheap and we both laughed. You can also get something like this grill light
which comes in handy especially when the days get shorter!
5. For the stylish dad- Michael Kors Access Lexington 2 Touchscreen Stainless Steel Smartwatch, Silver Tone-MKT5077
It seems like everyone has a smart watch now, and sometimes I feel like we all look like spy kids with our smart watches. This watch is the perfect gift for someone that likes to stay stylish wearing a regular looking watch but still wants all of the technology of the smart watch. This is really a great gift for anyone, me included (hope you’re reading Brian! haha)
6. For the bearded dad- Jack Black – Beard Grooming Kit
The bearded dads in your life will definitely appreciate this awesome gift set. This kit includes a beard wash, conditioner and oil, along with a beard comb. Beards are such a statement nowadays that so many guys have them, this is probably a gift you can give to more than one of the guys in your life!
7. For the music loving dad- A record player
Brian got a record player for his brother a few years ago and I remember he was so excited about it, I put it on my list as a good gift for him at another holiday. This record player is cool because it’s also a speaker for your phone via usb, but it’s also a regular record player as well. It would make a great gift paired with some records!
8. For the coffee loving dad- Mr. Coffee Espresso and Cappuccino Maker | Café Barista , Silver
We are big coffee drinkers in this house, and I’m a big fan of Espresso Martinis, so when my sister got us an Espresso maker last year I think both Brian and I were especially excited. This makes for a great gift for anyone that is as big of caffeine addicts as we are!
9. For the work from home dad- Sony Noise Cancelling Headphones
So many people are still working from home, and one of the best tips that I’ve gotten from a friend that always works from home is to take shifts with the kids and work, and use noise cancelling headphones when you are working. These headphones are reasonably priced, have a microphone for Zoom calls, and will help the dads in your life concentrate on their work.
10. For the clean dad- PhoneSoap Smartphone Sanitizer & Qi Charger
This is the perfect gift to end out this year for really anyone. With Covid and the flu and all kinds of germs floating around, it’s really important to keep our most used device clean. This PhoneSoap sanitizer and charger will kill 99.99% of all bacteria and germs that are found on your phone, which I’m sure most of us don’t even realize are there. If you want to help the dads in your life stay healthy after Christmas, this is definitely a great gift!
11. For the sports fan dad- NHL Game Used Hockey Puck Opener

I really love the website Uncommon Goods for finding cool unique gifts for people, especially for the sports fans in our lives. I was browsing the other day and I saw that they have this NHL Game Used Hockey Puck bottle opener, and although it’s a little expensive for a bottle opener, I know a few people that would love this as we have a lot of hockey fans in our lives. It will definitely be going on my list as a future gift for the guys in my life!
With all of these gifts listed, they should be able to be delivered before Christmas, but check with the websites listed just to be sure. The Amazon gifts listed are all delivered with Prime so unless they are on backorder they should get to you within two days or so.
If none of these work for you, my best advice would be to try to think of what they’re most interested in, and either replace something that they have that is wearing out, or find something that goes along with a theme, like with the hockey puck opener. I’d love to hear if you have any additional ideas for clever gifts for dads, so shoot me an email or message me on facebook or instagram if you do!
