Nice to meet you, I’m Sam!

I am a working first time mama of a baby boy, I became a mom in September of 2020. I’m starting this blog as a way to find and help other moms who can relate to my experiences and all of the wonders of new motherhood! There is so much I learn every day.

I also am an avid DIY’er of crafts and home renovations, so I’ll be writing about anything from how to make a diaper cake to the joys of changing diapers, and everything in between. We recently bought a fixer upper home on the Housatonic River, so we will be doing a lot of posts showing our progress on our new home!

Fun fact: My baby was born on my fifth anniversary of dating my amazing husband Brian after being a whole TEN days late! Brian is our chef, our general contractor, my mentor, my biggest cheerleader, and so much more. I thank God for him every single day.
